This site and the philosophy behind the design
We made a conscious decision to keep this site simple and uncluttered. The site should serve us in two ways; it should show the impact you can have without cramming a page full of whirligigs and doohickies, the main object is of course to allow you - the potential customer - to get hold of information about us easily. At the end of the day this website should allow you - our potential customer - to get hold of the information you need in order to make a decision about using Global WebTrader. That information should be accessible, persuasive, and accurate. We think it is.

We could have crammed the page full of gadgets and effects - but would a Flash generated fractal landscape being displayed have sold our services any better? Perhaps it would have done for certain potential clients. If thats what you want we can provide it, but on this site we want you to have the information to buy what we sell (which is ourselves) rather than eyestrain caused by a multicoloured pulsating screen or a huge phone bill incurred whilst waiting for images or movie to download.

So we kept it simple and let the information do its job without the graphics getting in the way. A nice clean looking site that reflects our corporate image. This is our site, yours can be as psychodelic or as bland as you want it but we will always try and make the best site we can for you, and give you the soundest advice we can whilst guiding you but you the customer are always right.

The site is technically correct - check the W3C HTML logo on our pages, it means that the programming behind the screens is to W3C standards - to show we don't just use a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver or Ultradev, we work with the code, handcrafting it until it is as near perfectly formed as we can make it! The site is set up to appear consistent no matter what browser or version of browser you use, we don't need a "best viewed with IE 6" rider.

We built this site using Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Arachnophilia, Ulead GIF animator, Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, the W3C HTML validator, the BOBBY validator, and human brains.
